Default Which smart phone do you have?

I just got a Blackberry. Mostly because it has a very secure push email system that is very hard for the government to control in the event of an insurrection or if I ever wanted to start a riot. Also I like the QWERTY keypad.

I was thinking of an Iphone but they are quite pricey and I don't want to get too reliant on Apple.

Samsung Galaxy II S looks very nice - you will need to take a spare battery to your riot though or you will quickly be out of touch!

I have the BB Curve 8900, but it's a work phone and I can't honestly justify the cost of my own while I have it, although I really do fancy an iPhone - even an iPhone3 TBH

HTC ANDROID Desire, now rooted, over/underclocked. Does everything my laptop does, email, video, internet, Google maps, YouTube, stock market, news. All in your pocket.

I use it all the time, excellent tool, plus its not locked down like some other systems.

Rooted Gingerbread 2.3.3 with HTC sense 3.0 add on (leedroid)

I have got an iPhone4 and love it. I think it needs a few extras to be the best it can ie a better camera and more flexibility with personalising the phone with themes etc.

I went for an iPhone not cos of the hype but cos I can us it to play my music in the car via my headunit and I like apple products.

Root it, then run setcpu when you are not using phone the processor speed drops to idle. I can literally use my internet 6 hours a day and still have plenty of battery life left. If I use the phone normally, I can get in excess of 24 hours use

+1
As a phone it is limited and does need more options-however,as an all in one package,it's a fantastic bit of kit.
Horses for courses and all that...

Windows Mobile should be Windows Phone (WinMo was the old windows phones of a few years ago).
Plus you need a Symbian/Nokia option (which I have!)

Hey! I can do that with my Desire HD ... must be good then, if it can do what an iPhone can ....

Not had a problem after the upgrade. But then I've had the phone since last October and not had any of the "issues" that others have experienced.

You muppet . You would find it difficult to put a laptop in your pocket

I have an 1800mah battery for my HTC Desire and I get about 48 hours out of it with little use. Make sure your wifi is turned off though if you are not using it. I have a battery widget and the wifi was killing the battery.

Does it still fit in the same space as the original battery or does it require a bigger back panel?

It unlocks the phones system, allowing modified operating system to be installed. This then allows all sorts of enhancements, speed, battery life, expanded storage for applications (dependant on which phone you have). Basically full customization of the phone
