Chester Next Friday

I'm down in Chester nest week for a wedding. Staying the Village on Thursday then moving to Holiday inn (west) on the Friday. The wedding is Saturday so Friday is free, any recommendations on what to do or see ? There will be me, her in doors and 2 kids 6 and 8

Chester Zoo or Blue Planet? Blue Planet is pretty pricey to get in though I think.

Chester Zoo isnt cheap, but its a nice day out ..

We went chester zoo last week,£50 for a family ticket,2 adults 2 kids,we stayed in all day,and had a good time,which supprised me,lol.

If you go down to the river in centre of chester by the side of the roman ampitheatre/remains there is a lovely restaurant called hickory's-its an american steakhouse-had a bloody gorgeous burger and chips-good portions and simply the best burger i think i have ever tasted
