I think you do the best and are as vigilante you can be.

A friends little boy was nearly abducted just down the road (50 yards) from us two summer hols back, the person/vehicle was spotted and linked to another 5 or so attempted abductions in the area. Sadly never caught.

Makes you think...

I seriously cannot even begin to understand these people. Why?
Evil is too soft a word for these so called humans. I'm sure some clever folk will talk of mental illness and what not. But what do we do with a rabid dog? We put the ****er down.
If I ever, ever found one of these low life scum suckers trying to abuse my little boy, I would have no problem in ripping off their ********* there and then and then forcing their parts down their throat.

Makes my blood boil.

Apparently there's a home not far from where it happened that have these pervs in and they get let out on their own if they're good.

I'm with you 100%

I used to be a youthworker with 3 to 12 year olds and I would annihilate anyone who'd threaten them.

Even that sounds too good for them, They should be sprayed with female gorilla pheromones and tossed in a cage with 11 horny silverbacks. They'd soon understand how it felt to be violated and have your human rights removed by someone much bigger and stronger than you

I think there is a point where parents become hysterical about it though.

I noticed in Tesco the other day, some Mum and daughter were standing on the escalator as it went down. The girl (about 8) ran to the bottom on her own and stood hanging around the door area. The Mum scalded her saying it was 'dangerous' to run off, 'someone might take you'.

Fact is there have always been bad people about since year 0.

Even the dog that was innocent gets put down, these 'people' know exactly what they are doing and they get treated more humanly.

I'm missing your point ? are you suggesting that because there have always been kiddie fiddlers parents shouldn't be careful ? or teach their kids to be safe ?

I'm wondering that also.

Of course there isn't a pedophile hanging around every corner, but I would still like to teach my children that there ARE dangerous people out there.

Sometimes I actually regret bringing my son into this world and wondered if it would be best to end the family line with me. I honestly cant stand the thought of anything happening to him and know I would certainly take matters into my own hands if it did.

People like this lose their human rights the moment they take others away.

A neighbour of mine once chased a suspected paedo through the back gardens after he was seen talking to some small children.
Unfortunately he didn't catch him.
But he did catch a caution from the police for the knife he was carrying

I hate the "Suspected Paedo" thing, the mob mentality kicks in, the only ones who have any right to retribution are the family, not bored "hardcases" after a carnival on some manky estate, I rate "active" Paedophiles as the lowest of the low but I don't rate violent scum much higher. I sort of sympathise with people who have that affliction as it is a social taboo of the highest order but I have no tolerance of those who act on it, to do something like that is indefensible and deserves extreme punishment, but not at the hands of a baying mob as they are apt to kill Paediatric nurses as it sounds the same....

Paedophiles need taking out of society, they should have the choice of a lethal injection or life in prison if convicted, I knew a bloke at work who went to prison for having sex with a 12 year old boy twenty or so years ago, he is now out and posting on Facebook, I doubt anyone would leave their kids with him now as he is funny looking ****** but to my mind he shouldn't be out and about, that said nobody needs a baying mob with cans of Carling having a carnival waiting to kill him, usually with kids in tow.

When I said 'suspected', this fellow had previous form. It was his motives in talikng to the children that was suspect.
Wasn't exactly a mob uprising either, just a guy on his own who knew the lay of the land and decided he was going to show the perv a thing or two.

Telling kids it's dangerous to be in public only a few yards away from their parents is crazy. Kids are going to grow up in fear of the outside world and with no independence.

If you want their perfect safety lock them in a cage.

I was sent a link to a youtube video that shows how African tribes deal with rapists.

It was horrific.

Needless to say - the "Accused" wouldn't ever be able to rape again.

I couldn't vote for that method of controlling rapists but I could vote for chemical control. If they miss a visit for an injection - Bang them up.

Isn't South Africa the rape capital of the world?
