Default Ray-Ban prescription reglaze?

Anybody had their Ray-Ban's (or any other sun glasses) reglazed with one of the online retailers?

Who did you use and were they any good?

Well after doing some research chose to send them off to a company called Ciliaryblue.

Placed the order on line last weekend, they will take your last eye test results as long as they are less than two years old. You need to send them your prescription, which they return.

Monday, received in the post a flat pack shipping box, already addressed and postage attached, returned them the same day.

Tuesday, received an email to say they had received them.

Wednesday, received an email to say they had been shipped back, and today they arrived.

I'm gob smacked at the service and quality of the lenses, they are every bit as good as the original lenses. The only criticism I have is that they are slightly less tinted than before, however it's not a major problem for me, but could be if you are looking for a dark tint.

All for £22+ £5 postage, absolute bargain is all I can say.

Nice one fella!

Most folk would let their thread die if it had no response, so good one you for stating what you eventually done and I'll keep this in mind if I decide to get new lenses in my tatty Police sunglasses.

I certainly did. Mine need re-doing so I'll follow your lead. Cheers.

Good stuff, hopefully you're impresed as much as I was. The way I looked at it was that £27 wasn't much to loose if it went wrong, as I couldn't use the frames with the old prescription anymore.
