Default Creepy kids TV from the seventies/eighties ?

Starting with the moth eaten, flea bitten Hartley Hare who just totally sounds like a sex offender,,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMdBh09zP8U

And Mr Noseybonk, now this I found seriously disturbing during "Jigsaw", even my formative Janet Ellis fantasies couldn't put the creepy **** Nosed freak out of my mind.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_1QyOQDx6w

Trying to find another few, do you remember these or any others ?

Oh, and that Kinder commercial, shudders, the Egg one.

Theme from "Picture Box", the programme wasn't exactly creepy but the music is, randomly, J4ckos mate and myself once got a taxi home from Hazel Grove near Stockport and the driver was none other than Alan Rothwell who was the presenter of this programme, I puked out of the side of his Sierra and as he had been in Brookside as "Heather Havershams" love interest (and junkie) recently JM asked him if he got to "**** that Heather Bird", he replied "Sadly not "

Sounds like you average Scoobynetter

But yes, to the less pure mind, it does look a bit creepy.

I loved Mr Benn as a kid, just thinking about it know he could be a closet gayer or something.

To be fair not many of the cast of Brookside have gone on to bigger things. Anna Friel must be the exception?

'Terry' just got charged/done? for killing a bouncer?

'Sinbad' last seen eating pies and doing soap adverts?

Don't remember Mr Noseybonk.

Don't think I would have been keen to play a character with a name like that!

Does anyone remember 'Look and Read'. Not at all creepy you say? Well, I remember they used to have a drama during the programme, and the link above is to one that haunts me to this very day. 'The Boy From Space'. The boy himself was a bit eerie, but the thin man, in the link scares the **** out of me still.

Remembered another one, this really rattled me as an 8 year old !

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0291148/

No video from what I can find, just this from TV cream,

MORE FROM THE fortuitously prolific pen of E. Nesbitt, but stuffed full of the usual upper class Edwardian drawing rooms peopled by Posh Edwardian Children, here discovering a “magic ring” with wish-conferring capabilities. Each wish, naturally, had an unfortunate sting in the tail. So, a row of hastily constructed mannekins (an audience for the children’s pantomime) unexpectedly came to life as terrifying “Ugly-Wuglies”, the thieving ****-er-nee maid’s magical shopping spree wrought disastrous consequences and, in the most memorable moment, marble statues in the grounds took it upon themselves to start wandering around at night. Literal wish-fulfilment for those upper class kids who lived up the road from you. For those of us watching not a) Edwardian b) posh c) in a drawing room, all there was to wish for were the delights of riding around in a dinosaur, perpetual invisibility, or an indoor toilet.

Only remember the bit about the Mannequins getting up, these annoying posh kids were doing some ***** play and needed an audience, as nobody wanted to watch they made "people" out of old clothes and at the end of the play the piles of clothes basically got up and shuffled out, which still makes me shudder to this day !
