Jesus wept, you'd think I wanted a parcel sent to Saudi Arabia!

Checking online for a small part for my car, which could be posted via Royal Mail yet companies are looking upto and over £18 for delivery, thats 1/4 of the actually parts cost.

Now I use many delivery companies day in and day out and I know that sending a small parcel to Mainland UK or NI does not cost even half that amount so why try and rip us off?

Agreed.

Assuming it's not a heavy item Royal Mail will send at standard packet rate which is just a few quid.

But some suppliers have a fixation with courier companies and it will be more expensive for them to get to NI.

hi i sold my old four pots and disc's 23 kg Royalmail only send up to 20kg
So got a quote from parcelforce they wanted £36.
Then tried http://www.parcel2go.com/default.aspx They wanted £12 came and collected and delivered next day.Might be worth a try.
