Manual Help
Bit of a long shot really.
My parents went away on holiday, unfortunately had their camcorder stolen from them. It was reported to the police, but came to nothing. Anyway, once they got home, they reported it to the insurance company, explained the situation, insurance company are more than happy to pay out, but on one condition. as the camcorder was a gift to them, the require proof or purchase. In this instance, they said they'll happily accept the original manual. Guess what? They can't find it! Its a sony camcorder, so they got in touch with sony, but they are dragging their feet and generally having slippery shoulders.
Any ideas where they can get a copy of the original manual from? The downloadable version wasn't deemed acceptable either. I'm assuming the only place would be from Sony themselves.
The model is (was!) a Sony Handycam HDR-CX155E.
Any help would be appreciated!

Maybe the manual was stolen with the camera?
Ask the person who got the present for them to write a note saying that they bought the camera as a gift - when and where, etc. That should suffice.
