I go on my jollies in 4 weeks and I have decided to buy a cheap camera. Has anyone got any opinions on these two cheap ones, or are there any better options? I don't mind paying up to £140 but I refuse to pay more than that as I think compacts are cheaply made and don't last long.

A quick search and the ixus 130 Canon does not seem much better than the £99 Canon I have posted ??

Have 14.2 mega pixel and have other function as Tilt shift and fish eye,great camera for beginner with great functions

The Samsung does have more optical zoom,Canon has a manual over-ride which can be useful.I have 2 canon cams and are great cameras.

Samsung Wb600 can be got for about £120 and I dont think you can get a better camera.

I always buy my cameras direct from Fuji....... advertised as refurbed.... had 3 so far and everyone looked and performed as new
