The law of our land is an ***.....

To let those animals out on bail, beggars belief. All over a spilt drink. I shudder to think what the eventual sentence will be.
The father, Paddy Hilton, works for us. He is distraught as you or anyone of us would be.
What the hell has happened to the world

I still can't get my head around the fact, the thugs are walking around, in the sunshine, maybe even going to the pub again, whilst she is lying in a hospital bed.
I would have locked them up and thrown away the key

Look people. I come from Washington, in between Newcastle and Sunderland and we all say Mam. And Newcastle and Sunderland are the North.
Anyway, this is not what the thread was all about. OK. Thanks. Sheesh!!!!

I say "Mam". Suppose it depends on the area.
Everyone I know my way say "Mam". Most people who I know Teesside way say "Mum".
But TBH who gives a ****?
Read this story in the paper today. Makes you feel sick that this can happen over a spilt drink. More and more we see disputes or minor incidents ending up in violents. I guess when the dumb can't use words, they use fists.

Has that not always been the way though? If you go out, especially in the towns near where I stay, there tends to be a lot of the puffed out chest brigade. When they're drinking and in front of their mates they'll do anything without thinking, just not to lose face. Got to keep your wits about you!

Who cares, most who said it, do not even come from the North. Manchester is not the North, as much as they want to think it is.
What has happended to that young girl is terrible, and the fact her Father works at the Company I do, has made it all the more distressing.
Sorry, pimmo, but how dare you say people don't like to focus on the horrible things. Nearly every other thread is a horrible thing at the mo' and the fact a young girl is paralyzed thanks to some thugs who thought it ok to do this to her, because her sister spilt their drinks is a downright disgrace. I don't think it's "fair enough" at all they focus their thoughts away from it. If you don't like it, don't comment !

No it's not. I posted to show the horrors that are going on. The fact folks chose to imply, Mam was not a Northern word was just stupidity.

Anyway, more important.
She has had a long operation and fingers crossed, seems to be getting some movement. I will be seeing her Dad tomorrow for the latest.
Seems, the perpetrators house has been boarded up as there are so many people being vigilanties, it's unreal. Good luck to them, I say

Its an awful story. I think that so much of this sort of thing is happening now and I think it stems from the moral depravity that this country has been sinking into ever since 1997 with the change of government.
People tend to follow the example set by their leaders, and their efforts to destroy this country in order to make it easier to hand over to the corrupt fellows over the water thus ensuring their own personal gains in the future. This has made people's attitudes change and not for the better. Life seems to be very cheap in this country these days.
Funny that Billy Liar is now advocating the election of an overall president for the Eu and guess who he thinks would be the man for the job!
