Warm unstable front coming up from the south. The damp air rises so fast it forms hailstones.
We have had it here in France for two weeks now, I have to switch off my internet and the electrics to the phone and computer every night to avoid them being fried by the thunderstorms we are having daily/nightly.

I saw that earlier! Middle of June as well ..... Oh well, Cornwall can look forward to strong winds, heavy rain and a max. of 13 deg. C tomorrow. I blame global warming .... I know, let's burn a few greenies ....

By some weird coincidence there was a coach on the ferry on the way back just like the one in the bottom photo. Used for weddings at the moment. Boy, did it have trouble getting up the hill ....

Are they saying global warming is still the cause off the uk summers becomming the new wet season ??!!
strange that as far as I know all the usual holiday destinations - majorca- turkey-south france etc etc all continue to have the weather they have always had so why the uk ???!!
have even heard it said that we only remember it as being good summers way back - rubbish am only 41 and remember the summers as being constantly nice !!
