Medium Sized MPV
Hi
Looking to purchase a medium sized MPV for my wife (and two kids). My first thought were a Seat Altea or a Ford C Max.
Does anyone have any experience of either of these two models ?
Is there any other decent models that my suit ?
We have a budget of around £7500ish, looking for less than 30k on the clock and something that is economical, reliable and cheap servicing costs - does such a beast exist ? :-)
Good website for used car reviews ?
Many thanks for any pointers

Are you going to keep it nice or simply wreck it with the kids to the point that it's going to be a throwaway item at the end ??
We thought about it, decided on the latter and got a citroen Picasso.........cheap as chips to buy and we soundly killed it in 3 years of abuse / vomit /food / mud

ha ! Good point. I guess the idea would be try and keep it as nice and neat as possible - but yeah i take your point, its bound to get abused by the children.
So in essence we will do our utmost to keep it in good condition, but accept it will get nailed by the children

Yep thats why i buy sh1ters for daily use and abuse, park it anywhere hit kerbs other people opening their doors onto it or bashing shopping trollys on it, boy bashing bike into it throwing sweets chocolate ect,ect inside it of no concern whatsoever tip runs road rage no problem
rover 200 is the current shopping trolly / skip /pub roller skate £800 and done 15,000 miles in 18 months and 42 mpg trouble free and if it breaks she has instructions to leave the keys inside and get a taxi, much cheaper than the rac or a mechanic
Oh and once a month the local polish boys clean it inside and out for a fiver...
