Default htc desire ear speaker problems

Ive had my htc desire for 4 months or so , 2 weeks ago the sound went funny , all desorted but if i move the call over to loud speaker its all ok ....

Then next day it was fine so i thought ahh well be ok , but thursday it started playing up again , just desorted sound ..

Anyone else got or had same issue

Is it stock ? i.e not rooted ?
If so surely its in warranty ??

Sony ericsson C905 had a massive recall a couple of years ago because of ear speaker problems....bad batch apparantly and still happens.

Warrenty job

The mic and earpiece have gone funny on mine, Voda are sending me a replacement tomorrow

Funny you say this. I have the HTC HD7 and while watching a clip it sounds as if i have the volume too loud for it's capabilites. Is this possible??? Surly they would only let it go to the max clear sound and not crackly and rubbish,

Only had the phoen a month and not droped it once! (yet )

Have you tried different headphones? My Galaxy is very, very choosy.
