Has anyone bought a good replica watch online i would'nt mind buying one as I have just lost my last one.

Is there any really good replicas out there where it is hard to tell the difference?

I bought a replica once, day one chrono didn't work, day two second hand stopped working, day three strap broke, I sent a few emails and was asked to post it back for a refund, when I finally got around to it the date was the 38th ha ha I never did send it back I smashed it to bits (which was quite easy ) while laughing out loud lol

I got a fake Sea Dweller, I have a real one and thought it a good idea to wear a fake one instead and keep the real deal in wraps.

Cost $80
Looks EXACTLY the same as the real thing

Movement is sh1te, second hand kinda jutters instead of sweeping (You won't notice this unless you see the real movement)
Crown is rubbish, adjusting date/time is a pain
Bracelet can't be adjusted, should be able to unscrew and remove parts of it but the "screws" are fake
It's not waterproof like the real deal

I never wear it anymore, I know it's a fake and I don't like it, I wear my real one, if it gets scratched, it gets scratched.

Source it from the Far East, the website I got it from initially advertised on this site but I can't find them anymore, may have closed down. If you really want a fake then there are some great places to buy them and they really do look exactly the same. But at the end of the day, it's a fake, and you will know that.

A good replica (depending on the watch) is going to cost upwards of £200, so what is the point?

A good second hand watch would be a much better investment. I can honestly say that replica watches are just awful.
If you can't afford a Tag, Breitling, Rolex etc, buy a cheaper watch and enjoy it. Rather than wishing that the one you are wearing was something else.

Also if you are going to buy an expensive watch, for gods sake WEAR IT!
Don't just keep it in the box only to bring it out to admire it and w@nk over it!

My question is................why do fake watches try and copy the automatic movements?
They are never as good quality obviously and far more unreliable.
Why not just stick a battery in it and concentrate on making it look the real deal?

Just sent my genuine omega seamaster off for servicing, 300 quid - five years ago was half that price.

Buy a genuine, mine is ten years old and still looks like its brand new, the crystal never scratches. I have worn it everyday of those ten years no matter what I've been doing, from working on the car to demolishing walls. 1200 quid to buy but I'll probably never buy another watch as long as I live.

You get what you pay for. If you buy fake then everything is below par such as waterproofing. Even if you buy top of the line fakes at £400 a pop they will leave you wanting.
