What to drink?
I need some suggestions of stuff to drink when I eat.
I'm one of these people that needs to drink a fair bit (probably a pint) of fluid whenever I eat. However, I really struggle with plain water. I drink sugar free Volvic touch of fruit throughout the day to keep my fluid levels up, so couldn't stand to drink 2-3 pints of that across my meals.
However, nearly all other options seem either laden with calories or laden with hidden nasties.
If I drink coke/pepsi then I'd probably get through about 1.5l a day packing a 900 calorie punch.
However, I currently drink about as much pepsi max - which is zero calories - but packed with aspartame and god knows what other chemicals. I honestly feel myself getting a buzz when I drink the stuff, which suggests there is actual addiction going on!!
Most (all?) of the diluting juices seem to have the same problem. They are either laden with sugar or laden with chemicals to make up for the lack of sugar.
I also love milk (semi-skimmed) but, again, 3 pints is about 750 calories, which is too much for me per day from fluid alone.
I found some OJ that is fairly watery and therefore low in calories. However, I just can't stand that volume of OJ in a day...too much acid.
.....and there you have it. I'm stuck I want something that tastes nicer than tap water, is low in calories but not packed with a world of sh*te to make up for the fact that it is low in calories. Does such a drink exist?

Pepsi Max ... the liquid of the Gods.
From the moment you open the cap, the hiss, the black liquid urging to get out and then the fizzy sound pouring into the glass.
(not that I'm addicted or anything)

Well, washed down tonight's dinner with a nice bottle of Shiraz, think the missus had a glass out of it Had a couple of beers to led upto it and now having a Hobgoblin before bed (may have another yet). Good job I haven't got any Single Malt in else a chaser would be in order to.
Red wine goes best with food, though beer with a curry is always good. For some reason my beer capacity isn't what it was as I find it make me feel bloated with food.
For the tea total gheyers though, just water or squash is fine, that or a nice cup of tea though I usually reserve that for washing down my brekkie, not dinner

Fun and games apart, there hasn't been overly much in the way of meaningful suggestions other than just "sink tap water".
Seems like there is a gap in the market for a good tasting low calorie drink that isn't packed with artificial sweeteners or other chemical nasties.
