It would be OK if they had jailed the right man. The article says 'Musician Pete Doherty.....' whereas the drug ridden fcukwit we all know as Pete Doherty has more chance of being a successful open heart surgeon than a musician!

complete waste of space, time and money, better to be used as an organ donor (the organs that are still any good that is). The selfish sad, talent-wasting little tw't needs a good kick up the ar$e that i do doubt prison will give him as he will be seen as a victim of drugs rather than a serial drug user intent on ruining his own life and others in his d list celeb/druggie circles he mixes in.

Dont confuse you opinion with fact - 'I dont like him' doesnt = no talent, you wally.
PD's abilty is critically acknowledged; but that doesnt prevent him from being a tool...

Yes, he is a tool and I wanted to loathe the music but I really did like the Libertines when I gave them a listen, really is pretty good, now I am not going to subscribe to the tortured poet thing but there are some clever lyrics and decent tunes.

He's certainly not talentless (but yes he is a **** lol), have you even seen him live? I've seen him 3 times, once was awful, once was ok and the third was one of the best gigs I've ever seen live! His guitar playing was amazing as was his stage presence in the last one so it's probably more his state of mind at the time or whether he can be arsed! Yes he deserves to go to jail but just because you dont like him does not make him any less of a musician...
