Default Boy, nine, held for drink-driving...

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/boy-nine-he...093022370.html

Is it just me or is this wrong on so many levels - i hope social services get stuck in and actually do something about this before the boy injures himself and anyone else - where where the parents FFS???

before the do-godders say it is a "one off" - The child, who has not been named, was just one of thousands of under 18s arrested in the north of England over the past two years.

These included four 11-year-olds and a ten-year-old arrested in the Northumbria force area for car theft, and seven 12-year-olds arrested in Cleveland for the same crime.

During the same time period, Durham Police arrested one 12-year-old for aggravated vehicle taking and North Yorkshire Police arrested one ten-year-old for car theft.

WTF is going on???

But when officers discovered his age they were forced to release him without charge as he was too young to be held accountable for his actions.

And here is part of the problem, not being held accountable for your actions..
Throw him and the rest of them in boot camp,Oh this country is too soft to have things like this...

You should also blame the parents of the parents. It's a viscous cycle.

No respect or discipline these days.

To me this seems the only viable option, the parents obviously don't give much of a **** by the looks of things, boot camp at an early age will straighten these little ******* out.

I think it is largely down to feckless parenting in the first place, and then keeping bad company. Probably getting difficult to find good company anyway these days.

Its a great shame and yet another sign of the slide into moral depravity that this country seems to be experiencing for some years now.
