I do watch the odd soccer game but have no special interest in either Stoke or City and it was a pretty boring match anyway.
So I thought there might be something to cheer me up on TV tonight until I looked at the programming. Euro-bloody-Vision contest for hours and hours and fecking hours. And since my boy is in the Irish music scene in Dublin I looked to see who was representing Ireland - Jed-bloody-Ward
I give up

Was always something good on when there were just 4 channels,or seemed to be
We have what seems like 400 now and spend all night just going through the program information then go to bed!! Hardly ever watch anything apart from a bit of news!

Its a pity that our own tv companies seem to have given up most of the time, the money goes on obscene salaries to undeserving personalities who cannot possibly justify what they get paid.
Really good programmes seem to be a thing of the past.

Flicking through last night I started to watch Blood Diamonds partly as I know Sierra Leone, where it was set, quite well.
Not for me though - pretty hackneyed story and whilst realistic seeing kids having their hands chopped off is not for me. How it managed 5 Oscar nominations is beyond me, must have been a barren year.
