It is not just the surcharges that need sorting out. When I book flights back to the UK from Germany and see the breakdown of the costs it is criminal how the flight costs 75 euros and there are 120 euros in taxes. How the hell does that work then?

 

It is so that they can substitute more Eu tax on everyone who takes a plane.

Just means all the charges will disappear and the flight prices will go back up. Simples!
