Cost of new build?
Just out of interest could somebody tell me what it would cost (per sqm/ft etc) to demolish an existing house and the build a new one?
On the assumption that a house stood there before I assume the foundations would already be adequate?
I know in London people tend to talk about £100/sqft for extensions but I don't know if this applies to a new build as well.
Price should be for the finished item ie external structure, roof, stairs, windows and all electrics, plumbing etc.
Excluding the actual cost of bathrooms and kitchens as this of course can vary massively according to spec.
Thanks

Work on a £1000sqm and you wont be far away.
Not sure if you would be able to use old foundations, depends on spec and engineers reports as to the condition/structural integrity. Would probably be cheaper and less hassle/peace of mind to start again.
