New Scooby Friends?
Guys & Gals,
Bit down in the dumps atm and have lost every ounch of confidence I ever had so thought here would be a good place to start to try and find some new scooby friends and maybe share a few other intrests?
Im planning to go a few meets but hate going alone so may take some time

Just bounce back Helen 
there are plenty of scoob meets for you to go to 
so dont be down in the dumps, try to smile and keep it there (life aint that bad even if things dont always go well )

I used to go to tbe local meet here (not this site) also attended a few events.
I only made one friend from the site, and that's probably only because I see him at our childrens school.
He uses this site too, but he doesn't come in here!!!
To be honest, if you need someone as a 'pick me up' then I would suggest you just have fun, and just go along to the meets with a smile and an open mind. And do NOT go alone!

I know, it's so obvious. They could at least be clever and think of a more subtle way of flirting. Will be having words with him though

You could pop over to www.surreyscoobies.co.uk we meet every second Sunday of each month 1pm-4pm at the fairmile arms Portsmouth road cobham surrey, a nice big country pub in very pleasant surroundings, its just a little trip round the m25 from you, there are a lot of really nice people in our club (male & female) who will make you feel very welcome, so why not pop over and say hello.

Did you not bother telling each other that you were going? I mean if I was married to someone I'd at least tell them where I was going before I left.
