Paragliding not parachuting so yes, the chute is open when they leave - you are in a seat rather than strapped into a harness

I was pleased that the basket wasn't big enough for more wings when we arrived, I'm super scared of standing on edges, next time. Pushing them out was fun though.

Lee's dive was a cracker, Akis over rotated but it worked out well. Both had a 'chute that they didn't want to use, taking two reserves is a better idea.
