Waiting on confirmation of contract extension
It's now 23:25 in the UK
Manager is in Philadelphia so 18:25 there.
Today is his last day in the office before his holiday to the Caribbean and my contract is up on 29th April - ie 7/8 working days?
I've been kippered I reckon.
I DO have it in writing from him that he will extend me till the end of June but nothing has been sent thru to the managing agency.
If he's been trying to pull a fast one - keeping me sweet with promises - thinking that he can just back out - I can charge my contracted hours (40) till the written end date - right?

Doubt it, unless you mean 29 April. Your contract is probably with the management agency (I'm guessing) not him directly, so you will probably want to speak to them.
Also, if he's in the US then you'll need to pursue him there if you want to take things further if you feel he is in breach of contract. I'd guess the costs to do this would be prohibitive.
