Exclamation BEST 3D-READY BLU-RAY PLAYER...???

This one? (I wouldn't want to spend much over £250).

Feedback welcome on what you've got...

I have the Samsung BD 6100 and it is great. The allshare stuff is great aswell.

Download the allshare software from the samsung website and install it on your PC then you can stream films, photos, videos and music etc from your PC via the BD player onto the TV. I can also stream from my mobile as I have a samsung mobile with the allshare on it aswell.

Looks like they've bought out the Sony BDP-S770 to supersede 570 (the one above) -- and I've seen it online for £229!!!

Looks like it's currently right up there with the best of 'em (no.1 in the below review):-

2011 3D Blu Ray Player Comparisons and Reviews

And yes, it can stream via WiFi too (as does the 570).

lol - I keep forgetting about that! ^^^

Can a non-3D PS3 be turned into a 3D-ready one, by attaching the "3D sync transmitter" module (plus obviously using the glasses).

Also, does the transmitter effectively do the work of the display i.e. do you not need a 3D-ready display?

Looks like you do - i.e. it must be HDMI 1.4 to be able to display 3D sequential frames.

I will cross that bridge in the future.

Cheers Littleted.

What other providers are there for streaming purposes (movies/video/****)? How do you invoke it in the menus?

You really should look into the Samsung BD players with internet TV and Allshare.
