Yeah - plus there is NO WAY a car like that could go around a corner at any where near 50 mph without leaving the road (at about 200).
The only thing I feel is dismay at the loss of a beautiful car however what was the father thinking lending a car like that to a 20yr old..............more money than sense......................

Love the unapologetic, single-mindedness of the Apollo. And love the aggressive pseudo-GT racer looks of the thing. It has an 'aura' of unpretention. That's what makes it 'beautiful'.

Good job I only had access to a 1100cc Peugeot 205 at that age. The most impressive thing to females was that it was better than getting the bus! If I had a Gumpert don't think I would let my young son drive it.
