Tsk, phone threads go in Computer Related

As above S2 is coming and looks superb, dual core processor, etc. However that is probably why there are some good deals around at the moment on the S, suspect the S2 will be much more expensive at launch.

Er why should it go in computer Related?

Are you going to build your own computer, or want advice on laptops, notebooks, monitors, processors, motherboard, software, computer games, etc. Discuss all things computer, or seek help from our resident geeks!
Can't see anything in there about mobile phones !

It was a jibe at the mods as all mobile phone related threads now seem to get moved there

I thought that was a big American car that they used to race in the saloons class.

Not quite, all Apple mobile phone questions get moved there. Makes sense I suppose as an iPhone could be considered a mobile computer whereas most others just make calls and perhaps do email.

One good thing about the droid app store,

You buy an app, if after you install / run it, you don't like it (15 mins) you can return it for a refund

If you like tweaking, and messing around with stuff, then android is fun,

If you want saftey and normality, then look elsewhere

Offer him £40 btw

I think he's just bought it for £120 ............he got it to run GPS / navigation / mapping while Paragliding ............oh! and to use it as a phone when he lands and calls for transport LOL

Not as good as his IPhone 3GS he says so he's sticking with his I Phone.

£60 is probably a good price

Apart from the no flash issue is it any good as a phone? i don't take many pics with my camera phones, in fact I don't do much with them anyway but we are also looking at that phone as the next option.

My missis is happy with it, she uses for the odd photo/ video of the little one, facebook, twitter, sky/BBC news and occasional browsing.

The missus has one of these, it's okay but not the fastest phone by any stretch of the imagination, struggles with Angry Birds. The Galaxy S would be far superior.

Got the Galaxy Apollo yesterday......seems like a nice bit of kit.

I havn't done anything yet as the kids have been on it taking two pictures that can be morphed into one. Best one so far has been a head on a stick (shooting stars stylee) and a lego Mandalorian head on the 6 year old.

Not sure where it is now........LOL
