No, well my dad bought Michael Owens MGF a few years back, he didn't pay any more for it because it was his, and it didn't sell for that much after somebody reversed up the bonnet in their 'Range'!

Boxter - poor man's Porsche.

Beckham's 993 was for sale recently, there was a premium.

Cheryl's Bentley was also for sale - big premium for the driver's seat

If you see him, tell him to make it up with the other 2 who wrote pheonix Nights.

He might be back on the telly, funny, and not dressed as a woman.

I question him being 1, sorry but I don't find him funny in the slightest.

To answer the original question though. There was a article on this at some point that was published somewhere. The answer came back as yes as long as their name is still on the V5, so basically you couldn't sell it without loosing the premium you paid.

He is certainly very popular, I certainly enjoy his efforts.

I would have thought it would improve the car's value.

I think he has lost the plot with that woman he has become. Saw him/her on the One show a couple of weeks ago.

You would obviously need some kind of positive provenance that he used to own it.

You'd also need someone to care about Peter Kay to pay the premium, having seen his standup show that may be difficult! Buy the car if its what you want at the price you're willing to pay, but dont come on here asking stupid questions about z list celebrities because i assure you no one cares

Why don't we all register our cars in famous people's name ?

I once had a car at work registered to a "sir" when I asked him about itbhe said it came back from dvla like it. When we sold it on the new owner wet themselves when they noticed it, didnt have the heart to tell them the story...lol

It's a car I just happened to look at and it turned out to be him, I'm wanting it for what it is not because he owns it.

Just wondered if people pay a premium because of it, I'm not into the whole fame thing.

I'd pay less knowing the suspension would need replacing..
