Question Stamp duty on share profits

Does it not apply to companies based abroad

I guess its the first time iv invested like this

You pay capital gains tax on profits.

And yes, it counts irrespective as to where the profit was earned.

There is threshold - I can't remember the limit - about £10k per annum.

Ah yes capital gains have to pay , but i made 460 quid yesterday on Centamin mining

and dont seem to have paid any stamp ?? ( didnt pay any last time i bought them either)

They are based in Australia i think

You only pay stamp duty on the purchase, not sale.
