Goodwood FOS
Just about to book tickets for the event this year. Whats the best day to go? I've never been but its an event I've always promised myself I would see at some point?
Sadly a weekend pass is out at the moment, but that may change if work give me the time off.

For the experience, Friday or Sunday
Sunday is when the racing proper takes place
TBH, you wont get enough time to see everything, so get your weekend pass plans going now

Friday as its quiter so you can see more and get around easier. Ok the F1 cars have test drivers in them on Fri but then you cant see them anyway in the cars and the test drivers tend to abuse the cars more.

TBH I was thinking Friday, and I don't really care about F1 cars, its the GT stuff I like. FMP, what the stand, and thanks for the heads up on prices, I was expecting that, but its nice to have it confirmed.

I enjoyed the FOS. been there a couple of times, but have now found that the revival meeting is better. The racing is outstanding and with the 1950's scene everyone is walking around with a smile on their face.
Nice to see the ladies in tight skirts and seamed stockings!
I like the trad jazz band in the pits area too.
It is also very good to be able to look closely at all the cars in the paddock. They have sme very interesting ones.
I would not miss it now.

Not been a for a couple of years but Friday is quieter. IMHO the weekend days have just got too busy and its a struggle to see stuff, particularly getting near the hill climb.
Just planning on the Revival this year, expectant missus allowing.
