Prefer diet coke to normal coke. Normal coke just makes you even thirstier with all the sugar and you can feel it on your teeth. Not sure what the point in coke zero is?

There's an aisle in our local Asda labelled 'Kids Drinks'. Never even walked down it My kid drinks water, milk, tea, and even the odd babycino from Costa Coffee. If we have juice in it is always proper fruit juice, unsweetened and NOT from concentrate.

It's better than full sugar drinks.

/Yes I know the diet drinks are not 'good' for you per se so don't flame me.

Yes that. I like Pepsi Max but I make sure that my children do not touch it or any other carbonated drinks.

Best thirst quencher for me is 50/50 pure fruit juice mixed with filtered or bottled water. I find juice on its own too sweet, so definitely won't go near anything like coke, even if it's the diet stuff.

The best thirst quencher bar none is water out the tap left running for 2 minutes and its relatively free !

Ah well ,as long as this trend in such drinks doesnt impinge on the beer section i couldnt care less

Could nt agree more i dont allow my kids to have any fizzy drinks at all there teeth are delicate enough without all that sugar its either water, milk, robinsons squash or pure orange juice.
Me on the other hand is a sucker for Relentless not a keen fan of Red Bull unless a drop of smirnoff is added. Got to be full fat coke aswell but before 12 is coffee coffee coffee

On that evidence, I'd pop open the Pepsi every time.

The problem with these reports on the internet is we dont know which are accurate and which is just somebody writing bull**** with no proof behind their claims of health issues

a bit like global warming where you can only get government funding if your research supports the man made climate change theory.

The real problem with whatever you drink is the acid content......low sugar drinks have extra acid added to improve flavour (usually phosphoric acid) and natural drinks from fruit are packed with acid

There is a risk / benefit with everything we ingest.......the governments five a day programme will mean we could live longer but the extra acids we take in with the added fruit / veg could wreck our teeth. Having worn down teeth does not kill us so the government are happy..........just what do we do with the 12 percent of people with acid erosion from the diet who have dental problems ?

Just a thought
