Default Lawn damaged !!!

I'm posting this here as I hope to get more help than hiding it in the DIY section.
We are in our new self build and last summer I sorted the front garden and seeded it.
I was very pleased with the results. However on two occasions towards the Autumn, cows got in and tramped over my lovely lawns.
Question is does anyone know what I sould do to get rid of the hoof divots they have left ?

You could fill the divots and reseed. If you do it now the seed should establish itself fairly quickly if you can keep the birds away from it. The only alternative I can think of is returfing the damaged bits, but you may struggle to get a match if you seeded the lawn originally.

Can you not claim off the owner of the cows to get it returfed?

Cut and lift the damaged area and fill in underneath with some good top soil. Relay the lifted turf onto the topsoil and job done.

Can't you use a roller thingy like sports grounds have?

fill it with topsoil and chuck some seed down. You will have greener grass this year on the filled bits, but no-one else will notice it

Get some more cows in to even it out.

It will take a while but after you fill and level the holes with re-seeding it will be as it was before.

Shoot the cows, sell for beef and hire a professional gardener

Sorry, but dealing with cow-trampled lawns is not really my area of expertise.

Roller it, Aerate and Reseed? At worst lay down more top soil to level it.
