I on the dale the swingarm looks better for freeriding, the canyon looks more xc/am.
I would ride the dale if you could, i tried their xc bike and didn't get on with it at all, rather than sitting on the bike, i felt i was sitting in the bike, more like a dh bike which an xc rig shouldn't feel like at all.
What about a giant trance, i love my anthem to bits it's a fantastic xc rig, and one of the few bikes that can show up an epic works fsr, i know as two of my friends have them. Used to trounce my tomac revolver on climbs, that was until the anthem turned up.
