Default BBC 3D TV test.........

BBC testing 3D today

The BBC are running an experiment today testing a new broadcasting device which will enable ordinary tvs to simulate 3D. The new idea uses polarisied light with 2 cameras shooting the same scene and then passing the signals through a Polarised Ray Amplitude Terminal for ongoing processing to the network. This P.R.A.T. signal can then be decoded by ordinary polarised sunglasses like Polaroids ... the BBC are testing this on Homes Under the Hammer which is on BBC1 today. You can watch the P.R.A.T results on your tv ... best results will be achieved by darkening your room and wearing polaroids.

P.S. I did like PSL's attempt, but he went too far, as if he's ever been over 12 mph...
