Question

OK, wierd for Scoobynet I know, but I'm sure there is someone out there from the trade.

I am trying to find out on average how many blocks per hour an experienced Bricklayer & Mate can lay - normal house size bricks (not blocks).

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Nick

If its facing bricks, about 300 a day. Flettons, 1000 a day.

Blocks... If its good straight runs, between 150 and 200 a day (typical Thermalite/Durox 100mm blocks).

If its ball busting 7N concrete 215mm thick blocks, about 40 a day.
