Ok, so Bataan death march, Burma railway, the bayoneting of 200 Aussie prisoners in one go, Nanking etc. The Japanese in WW2 were pretty awful.
That said, can we blame a man for his father's (or grandfather's!) sins? I think not.

Yes, if you are going to have an opinion, perhaps research the evidence from several different sources, the reasons and make an informed decision about a subject, always bear in mind that additional evidence may come to light that may change your opinion, and when you voice said opinion try to do it so you dont sound stupid.
The Japanese were utter c*nts in WW2, the did some horrific stuff, it was war but they did take things a to a new level, the yanks and ourselves were not blames less and since then the Yanks have excelled themselves wheras the Japanese have kind of got on with it.
This is peacetime and as has been said you cant blame current Japanese people for what their grandads did in WW2, most of the people killed, hurt or made homeless will not have participated in WW2, and the tiny minority that were alive then probably were not sadistic Japanese Captains in the army.
Yanks really need to learn to think before opening their mouths and stop the rabid God Bless America crap, I like American And Americans but its like having a big daft gobby and agressive mate who punches first and asks questions later with no capacity to examine themselves and their actions.

And according to Marty Mann the Japs started WW2 aswell ! What a bunch of retards, half of them posting don't look old enough to be out of school so so what happened at Pearl Harbour wouldn't have effected any of them anyway.
Well of course they did - there was no World War until the Americans joined in, just like there was no terrorism before 11/9 (I'm not American... it's the 11th September, not the 9th of November

Tokyo I hear you say? Yup. Look up the devastation caused by the deliberate firebombing of a wooden city.
More people died of the immediate effects of the main fire-bombing raid than in either Nuclear attack. Some of the estimates are considered very low when you look at the population within the city.
Wonder how the yanks will feel when "Kahlifornia" sinks into the pacific some time in the near future!

When you scratch the surface Pearl Harbour is considered (by everyone but the yanks) as one of the GREAT military moves in history. To slap the face of yanks in that fashion, without detection was a true military move of the highest order....
Most of the ATOMIC attack was due to the yanks being red faced over the whole event, not to do with "winning WW2"....And as for the comments ref the Jap's and doing "bad things" in WW2...bare in mind they are a tiny country that was under siege from the bloodthirsty WEST. I cannot see they had any choice but try all the options, just EXACTLY what Britain would if the yanks came rolling up our beaches.....
Jap's are people of dignity and honour by my book...
