Default Is NSR the last sane part of SN?

As per title.

General has been taken over by text speaking chavs who think flamer kits and VTA dump valves on their Lexus light adorned Scoobies are the best thing since sliced bread and no matter how many times you tell them to change the VTA when their car is running like a bag of spanners they would rather re-shell the thing and buy a brand new engine and gearbox before they finally change the dump valve.... cos the noize is cool ... innit

Member's gallery now seems to be populated by people who think bolting stupid wide wheelarches to a classic and then sticking on uber wide wheels while slamming it to the floor makes it look 'street' all the while forgetting they have just wrecked the ride and handling of a once good car. Oh and for the finishing touches they stick carbon sticky tape or, even worse, stupid stickers all over the interior.

The for sale section has been taken over by 'breakers' who create 28 threads each and bump them every 2 minutes.

Computer related is home to the Apple Fan Boys and God forbid should you mention Windows or Android both of which are actually ... computer related.

Photography died a death due to a combination of snobbery and boredom.

Other Marques is home to BMWnet and you may only post about marques other than that on a weekend and then only to say BMWs are better.

Muppets was killed by the previous webby

So we need to preserve NSR before it too becomes something it shouldn't. Time to man the walls against the invasion and make a last stand

I'd see if that spare spot in Pete's old peoples home is still available once you find out NSR is just some right-wing Waitrose snobfest

Yes it may well be, but at least in here we can write proper English.

I dunno if I'd rather try desipher 'txt spk' for an hour in Scooby General or read the usual "look how much money I've spent on my house/appliances/cars/mistresses/pony..." in here

F1F your post was valid and I agree with it, as I am also an ageing snob But why do these threads always turn into a spelling/grammar lesson? You've ruined it by yourself

I'll have you know that Other Marques is BMW and PorscheNet

And there are quite a few secret Porsche owners and wannabes on Scoobynet who show up there once in a while.

And, anyway, it's not my fault Audis are sh*t!

The biggest issue is people like F1Fan who seem to be able to find negativity in just about anything. Every post is a moan.

I'm too idle to find a new home, besides, NSR makes me laugh, cry roll my eyes, spit out tea and beat my head on the desk with frustration - sometimes even on a single thread.

No, if I post then he posts pretty much directly after me but according to him I'm the stalker

Anyway if you see him tell him that while I have nothing against it (and even though I live in Manchester Trout ) man sex isn't my thing so I will decline the 3 way and that this thread is supposed to be a bit of fun ... you know, like he says I don't know how to have because I am always moaning.

Than can you tell him to f**k off back to Apple Geek World aka Computer Related

Yeah watched that, but it was mainly rubbish. I get fed up with all these celebs cashing in on stuff like this. They are only playing at it To be a proper fully fledged moaner you have to be one of the oppressed under a dodgy Tory government and a full on lefty stuck in a right wing world

NSR can never be classed as Sane purely by the fact that it is populated by dimwits, clowns and pond life (and that is just the mods )

However I do feel it is the last bastion of semi free circulating discussion just as long as there are not any more ****ing watch threads or pointless ****e posted about " what kettle shall I buy " etc
