In search of an MP3 (old Brit WW II destroyers)
From the old WW II British destroyers, a sort of woop woop horn steam powered rather than electronic I reckon. You can hear it in The guns of navarone after the German guns are destroyed and the 6 destroyers steam past.
I have mooched the web and no one seems to have it, there are loads of yank sirens and so on but not the Brit woop woop horn.
Anyone have it or know where to get it?

I know the one you mean. Certainly got the attention alright.
Hard to say whether you can find one now, as you say it was a powered by steam. You need to find a steam jumble if there is such a thing
