On the flip side how do yo get from the word "Hello"......and turn this into
"Aye uoop"....next is:
"oh my goodness", this becomes "EEEEEE BY GUM", when adopted by the "northerner"
crazy stuff up north ah??.....lonely, livestock laden nights are having an effect on your better judgement. Down south we are killing off our additional home time (due to our higher paid jobs and better standard of life) with going outside of our homes (farms up north) and spending money on our social life. This is all achievable in the south, since we live longer
Also we "BUY" our homes, so that later in life we actually OWN them.
Crazy ah??!!

A lot of people speak "bath" like "beth", though. I think that's wrong as well. For example, "Grant" should be spoken like "Grant", not "grent". A lot of people are just very strange, I have decided.

I worked in London a few years ago and never found a problem with the language barrier, it seem's most Cockney females I met understood the phrase "alreet pet, how d'ya fancy having 6'4" of Geordie hanging out the back end of ya?"

Oooh, that's pure romance compared to 'D'ya wanna **** or what?'

The most annoying is sufferners inabilty to use "th". "Well, fing is" or "I fought it was....."
But, they do not say "fe weafer is nice today" they would say "the weafer is nice today". Just shows how fick most sufferners are.......
And you eat jellied eels, need I say more?
Geezer

I find those jumped up female weather girls with the affected accents very irritating. They cannot pronounce an "O", its always "maste" or "hame" instead of"Most" or "Home".
It seems to be their attempt at what used to be known as an Oxford Accent and they fail miserably.
