Cant imagine how the piston and con rod got past the cylinder head.

Thats very old. Still never got to the bottom of wether that's his hand or glove that fell off!

So have I but usually the sump or the side of the engine, never through a cylinder head, even though I have had them try!

I had a conrod go on a mondeo I was bringing back from the car auction once. boom and the cabin filled with smoke, it was not only the engine that was a mess!
