Weekday wedding - Monday or a Thursday?
My Fiancee and I have found a wedding venue we both really love but its too pricey on a Fri, Sun or Bank Holiday (and out of the question pricey on a saturday). So we are looking at a weekday wedding. The large majority of our guests will be local so travelling is not a major issue. For us it makes no difference as we will have several days off.
If you had the choice of going to a friends wedding on a Monday or a Thursday which would be your preference and why?

A wedding on a school night.... I'd rather the Thursday, that way you could take the Friday off and make a long weekend out of it. Doing this on a Monday will guarantee that no one drinks as it's work on Tuesday so the evening do will likely be slightly subdued...
