Wigs/modern hair replacement
Before you ask it's not for me!
A female elderly relative of mine has lost about 30-40% of her hair, it's got to the point where it has made her really self conscious. She has tried on wigs before and found them very unnatural.
Does anybody have experience of any clinics around London that maybe able to offer something? I'm not even sure what tbh. Perhaps some kind of high quality weave?
Thanks

Mum has just got one on the NHS and it is very good, was supplied by St Thomas's hospital. Lovely little fitting room, wide range of choices and looks great, when she will wear the flippin thing.

I suppose it depends on where the hair loss is most noticeable.

I bought my daughter these as a Christmas pressie. Got the length to the waist as kids can't wait
Real hair, very good price and easy peasy to use. Give them a go and all the best

Yeah after writing that reply I decided to go on a mission. Messing about wearing her wig etc which made her laugh and decide she wanted to wear it. Suddenly it's permanent fixture
Adjusted it and fits her beautifully now. And looks very realistic.
Even if the patient pays for prescriptions they are only £59 worth looking into. Quick to put on with the stocking that goes under them.
