They played well but should have capitalised on England's poor handling in the first half.

Looking forwards to tomorrow afternoon on the sofa watching BBC1

Wales did play well at times, I thought we were done for when they got the try. All good in the end though.

Cracking match, though a bit concerning when England fell asleep during the second half and allowed the sheep worriers to catch up.

Nice to see Wilkinson back adding straight away

They played ok ,but you had to wondered at some of their passes at the outset of a move 22 etc

Sometimes they appeared to be chucking it more in hope sideways as much as anything

actually bloody lucky sometimes they didnt get more punished for it

Tbh given the number of first choice players wales were missing and "Le rat's" inability to judge a straight throw in, Ingerlund should have given us a proper reaming.
In spite of the result I'm still looking forward to the back to back games(Cardiff and Twickers) during the summer in the build up to the RWC.
I mainly felt sorry for the poor buggers who were stuck in the traffic queues from Bristol to Cardiff pre match-it took me 2.5 hrs to come from avonmouth to Cardiff-made it home 15 mins before kick off.
cheers richie

It was a good match.

Why was Wilkinson booed when he joined the match though...what has he done wrong, apart from kicking goals?

It's cause he's English, and did loads to help us win the World Cup and the Welsh dont like him

It must sting a bit that he can generally lob one on target and the welshies genrally cant

He can also tackle rather well .... Im guessing they were mainly preserving the other bloke for later on

Agreed. England's second try was an outrageous forward pass - shocking refereeing not to see it.

If you were watching the same game then you would have seen Wales get away with two forward passes too. It's same ref for both teams.

I'd have been happy if the ref had called all the forward passes, the Wales ones were in insignificant passages of play and england had more than their fair share especially in the first half. I just find this aspect of refereeing frustrating - it's not like there is much else for the officials to watch for in open play and the mower lines make it trivially easy to spot.

Don't get me wrong, Wales didn't play well enough to win, but I do think all the talk of England as nailed on six nations favorites and with a good chance of the world cup is a bit premature.

The booing was pathetic, it doesn't do the Welsh supporters any favours.
