With a relaxed door policy?
A group of us are in London all day Saturday and have a table booked at Porters, which I think is in/near Covent Garden. I've never been to porters, does anyone know what its like?
Anyway once fed we have the task of finding a pub/club to settle in for the remainder of the evening. Its my mates 30th birthday (at last he's caught me up) and he's not one for clubbing it ala MOS type establishments, he'd rather lounge around in a place playing backgroud ambient tunes whilst chatting to his mates. all this for 10.30pm at a place that has no queues, free to get in that accepts trainers - oh and no pisshed suits!
Does'nt ask much does he?
Its a holy grail I know, but any pointers?

go to 95 charing cross road its just a stair case by a mini cab light that will lead up to a closed door bang on the door and enter a world of decadence and all night drinking (doesn't open till 11-12 pm though0

Whats this place like???? Is the type of place to hand out with the wife or is it Tricky????
Last time I climbed some stairs near there and banged on the door. I was met by a 6.foot transexual prostitute....
