Bit of a long shot I know. Looking to find a source of ex rental or factory second snowboards. Any clues?

Ex-rental? Are you sure - these are the most abused boards around. Try looking on www.loot.com for a well care-for set. Could be worth buying boots brand new

Cheers for the links, I want to cut the boards up so the more battered the better.

i forget the name of the company but there is a ski/ snowboard rental place at gatwick airport where you can pick up kit on way out to alps.
They have an end of year clearout (about now i would guess). I bought some burton boots a couple of years back and they were good value.
