What a bunch of self-serving tw@ts these people really are.

Brought in by Lying Labour in 1998 as a means of "keeping control of teachers", they have simply formed yet another layer which does nothing other than punish some teachers twice for the same misdemeanor, and feather the nests of those working for the GTC.

Unelected, they are a quango and thus, answerable to no-one, yet they have the right, under law, to demand a tax of £35 a year on every serving teacher.

Now, Michael Gove has decided that their time has come, and what do they do? They are going to use the funds they raise from teachers to fight the government decision in the high court

One can only hope that they lose, and when they do, they are forced to pay for the case costs OUT OF THEIR OWN GREEDY, SELF SERVING POCKETS!

I hate people like this with a deadly loathing.

Don't talk to me about chavscum, people on long term unemployed, etc etc.
The GTC and it's like are the REAL thieving, bottom-feeders of 2010 UK.
