Some of these are a bit mental, it looks like most people dont even check before just driving through.
And the bloke standing on the road and getting run over =

it seems that most of the accidents were caused by people speeding along and not being aware of anyone else on the road..... some good crunches there

Having just spent several days driving in Indonesia it is interetsing to notice the differences in driving styles of many nations across the world.
This compilcation showed a basic lack of awareness from all these drivers and pedestrians (not just those causing the accidents) to what is going on around them.
In Indonesia the roads are clogged and at first you think everyone drives like a maniac, but after a few days you realise that everyone looks out for everyone else and gives them just enough room with grace being given to people pulling out of junctions or setting off from the side of the road or turning across you etc.
In fact it is one of the most pleasurable experinces driving I have ever had... a little intense as you have to keep your wits aout you at ALL times, but very rewarding.
The lack of aggression is rather refreshing especially compared to driving in the UK.

When I was at uni there was a Chinese lad. He told me not long before he came across here, his mum & dad took the local police chief out for a meal. As a thank you he was given his driving licence.
His dad then just gave him a few lessons and he picked the rest up as he went along.
He was a bit crazy that lad. I remember him pointing to pictures of a rather nice supra on the internet asking if I liked.
A couple of days later I was walking back to my friends car after a lecture, and he came drifting round the car park in the supra. Only had it a few weeks and he crashed it, didn't bother trying to get it repaired he just went and bought a brand new FTO.
In relation to that video I wouldn't be surprised if there had been traffic lights, or give way signs there, until a TV show removed them just to film the accidents.

I was on holiday in china a few years ago, the driving is mental! Shanghai was the worst.
We hired a pedal rickshaw one day, the driver took us straight out onto a very busy main road right in front of a lorry, he then continued up the wrong side of the road, I didn't think I'd survive
