Mid December Weather Forcast.
I shall post some Charts up soon.Mid December it looks like a Re-Run that we all have experienced.Basically slightly warmer from the 10th enjoy it,still won't be in double temps for most of us.Scotland,Northern England/East Coast it will be very short lived. The low will probs hit Southern England around the 20th.It has the potential to be worse than it is now..Potential i say.
Don't discard those Thermals just yet.

Like i said in an earlier post the Met Office wont forecast this until it's to late. They Know what's going to happen. They depend on a five day forecast,so they look to get it right.
Did you know that the main energy suppliers are the biggest customers to the the Met office? Why did they hike the prices before this current cold snap?
Anyone who wants a link to the charts and sites i use feel free to ask.

I'd also be very interested as I'm going up to Edinburgh on the 18th and need to make sure I can get back for the 21st.
If it looks in any way dodgy, I'll stay at home.

Im about 20 miles from edinburgh and it is really heavy this morning, hence me not being at work. I was in Edinburgh last wednesday and the snow was already really deep. With Temp barely going to be above 0c for the month, it ain't going anywhere fast.

They were supposed to come home last Wednesday but waited until today - it took them 8 hrs to Nottingham.
Looks very bad on the news today!

I have to say in Belfast we have got off relatively lightly. predicted heavy snowfalls yesterday that never came. wee light skiff, most if not all major roads passable with care. I am off work from 23rd right through to middle of january, my oil tank is full, logs, peat and coal in, so not too worried unless i run out of bacardi, but at £12.00 for a litre bottle on sainsburys, i dont think i will. Happy Holidays.
