This story first surfaced about six months ago. Funnily enough, immediately after Mr Assange's website published the previous mountain of documents leaked from Washington

I'm surprised he hasn't had a bullet or two pumped into him.
I'm all for free speech and public access to govt records etc but some of the stuff they're publishing is bloody dangerous and I can only imagine it will inspire some of the more unfriendly people on this planet to cause more death and mayhem.

I read an interview with him and the next big leak is about a big us bank. He reckons the data will be similar to the enron emails, in other words cause chaos.
Can't say I'm shocked at a bank being corrupt or unethical

While i am the first to admit that i think the vast majority of people on this planet are ****ing spackers, you would have to be a mega clown to be the founder of such a massively public operation and try and put it about like a sex pest.

Glad to see that Sarah Palin has everything in context, I thought she would be in favour of free speech...

Governments are very good at finding ways of self protection and they will use any method of attack should they feel the need.
If he is guilty as they say then he deserves what he gets. If he is proved to be innocent, that will blow any government credibility.
