Down to only 3 cm here at the moment. I don't want much more, sick of shovelling the stuff around now.

Few inches here and just started falling heavy again. Irritating the hell outta me.
Dogs are loving it.
Amused by the hopeful neighbours who have out their bins out for the morning lol

Rain washed allot away and some has melted, but we still have about a foot left.

Our bins got emptied on Monday. I was talking to the driver, they didn't think it was safe to go out. But one of the drivers who was pally with the gaffa said he would go out, so they all had to.

About 4 to 6 inches in central Scotland! Although the main roads and motorways are ok it's just the side streets that are the problem!

Haha there is always one. Bet the rest of the crew hated him.
They are usually around early but if I see them out there I will whip the bins out.

Expecting the plasterers in too, blew out yesterday, but can't see them showing tomorrow either, grr!
Let's see how much more we get over night I guess.

About an inch. Bit pathetic really.

Wish the media would shut its gob.

And when will the government make it mandatory for ALL public service vehicles to use winter tyres at this time of year. I mean cancelled buses and rubbish collections, come on. If they weren't running re-grooved nankangs it wouldn't be a problem.

Exactly 15" in West Lothian - I took a cross section of the virgin snow in the back garden

In fact, it'll be more than that now as I took that measurement this afternoon and it has snowed heavily since then.

Just been looking on the travel cameras on the BBC site...
Can't believe the traffic still stuck out there.

Measurement at its most was 8 inches. Started to melt/turn slushy but we're getting the odd little shower along the way, but there's nowhere near as much now.

Bins haven't been emptied though

My other half is a courier and he (and the rest of his depot) have had to go out in their ****ty vans, yet the bins can't be emptied. Pisses me right off, even if they can't go everywhere, they could get to some places, and there isn't obviously any info on when they might get out.

No post either.

We're having a little shower now, but we do get off lightly.

Can we expect more here, as I'm hoping my nurse will get to me tomorrow?

Still got about 10" sitting as frozen solid. It's like an ice rink out there.
Other half had a "do" with work mates and had to take my scooby as his Audi was less than useless today

I'm glad I'm not at work right now so he doesn't have to use the scoob, so scared of any accident (I am, not him). Couldn't afford to fix it if the worst happened.

Poor bugger is still out, heavier than ever delivery wise in all this, Durham branch was grounded.
