Anyone had this?

Went to the doc's yesterday and he told me I am suffering from Tracheitis. Apparently there is nothing they can do.

I am utterly fed up. Been coughing non stop for two weeks (almost to the point of being sick-sorry) and nothing is improving.

Any suggestions? Having to take paracetamol and strepsils just to try and get some sleep

i had this a couple of years ago had 2 doses of antibiotics and an ventolin inhaler took weeks and weeks to go and unfortunately has left me with a weak chest still need an inhaler every now and again... its a bugger sympathise with you oh by the way i couldnt lie doewn in bed so spent about 3 or 4 weeks trying to sleep in the armchair at night as it was the only way i could cut down the amount of coughing.....was signed off work for 3 weeks as well good luck
