Default Which tv for under £700

I am looking to upgrade my tv and don't really want to spend more that £700.
I currently have a 40" tv and would like to go a lot bigger eg 50"

I will be using it for sky hd, blue ray and a little xbox 360.

I was looking at the samsung c750 because of the 3d but I don't think i really want another 40".

I would like the idea of a 50" tv and think I have got it done to two for my budget.

LG PK590 or the Samsung PS50C550.

What are your views. Which would be better for me?

Thanks for the help

Most will say get a Panny, I back that because my 42" Panny plasma is very good indeed. It is worth getting the 1080P version because you will be future proof on HD and you get a better quality picture on non HD because of the extra pixels etc. Plasma is still the best quality for natural colours and for less blur on a moving subject in the picture.

Might be able to squeeze a 50G20 Panasonic into that budget.

edit - actually no but I would go for a Panasonic personally.
